Yup, nailed it this time. I am an ACCA grad or rather an affiliate as they called it. Seriously, I din harbour hopes of passing the 2 papers tax and advanced fin mgmt, becos i tot i had done it rather badly and the marks I calculated din seems for me to pass...bt well, it's over at least for ACCA ...
Looking ahead, might change job given the meagre pathethic,loose change salary of mine...have to scrimp and save to really build up my war chest to enter into the stock market. Learning and picking up ropes in Keppel, sadly, its been 1 or 1.5 yrs since I last picked up technical knowledge or hands on in my current job, it has mostly been a case of I guiding others, nt much I can do on except to build on my accounting knowledge...Been stagnating the previous 3 yrs due to my studying of ACCA, now tat tat has been done...I am a free man,wohoo...the bonus still at the back of my mind, shld I stay to get Bonus or shld I jus leave...well, lets see how the subsequent job interviews results in

Nice gathering, Job market from BL POV seems pretty bad, few confirmed offers despite him sending tons of resumes and gg for many interviews, hope he gets one job soon..
The primary sch gang this time with the absence of JB, bt it was a fun time as we chatted on Tekong, Diving and some rather close to the heart matters...hope all turns out well and for the benefit of all...
Somehow the reason why I am so sticky with Keppel and not wanting to venture is because I thk the friendship made at keppel with ex and current colleagues has seam into my weekends...some of my free time are spent with this joyful grp of people and with sheng long ard, everything seems funny...haha...somehow I guess I would have a hard time adapting to my new job if any.
But we work to earn $$, y stay with a company if it offers lesser renumeration than other for the same work done?
The covering of Lincoln during his absence was hectic to say the least, payments, problems, taxation, and budgets just arised...haiz...really shag bt I am glad it's over, bt I must be somehow prepared as an accountant would be bombarded with many questions as well...
