Met up with both Primary sch mates and secondary sch mates during the last weekend.
Primary sch mate gathering was a tad too long overdue liao,haha..bt still those who made the effort to come well showed that they wanted to gather and to catch up...a simple zhi char dinner and a major announcement...shall nt divulge whats tat....kx n TY graduating with both their degrees soon,congrats to both of them in advance...
Sec sch gathering was to celebrate our April Babies, and yea, I was one of them. Watched Iron Man 3, a pretty nice flick with a rather nt so complicated plot,I guess all marvel series are lidat with actions and the graphics preceeding the plot and storyline...bt the action was nice, esp towards the finale when all the Iron man suite came out...i would give it a 4 out of 5 rating.
Went to Watami for dinner next, a hefty dinner bt I being one of the bdae boys was spared the bill this time rd, and many thanks to Ek, Bl, samuel and YS for the treat...
Workwise, how do I put it...haiz, James my buddy in Keppel for 2.5 yrs has left for a new job last Wed...
Suddenly, I feel so desolate, the coffee times we had....the many sports that we organised for the Championship league and not forgetting us taking part in those sports as particpants, Basketball,Captain Balls(many times in fact) and bowling....
James was my closest fen in Keppel, one who was always very spontaneous,the full of energy guy, the decision maker guy and the advice giving fren...who supported me when I flanked my ACCA...
With him ard, it was jus like you taking a step back and let him jus direct his ways...
Frankly speaking on the last day, the we both bought a coffee and drank just b4 he departed, from the sound of his voice, it was cracking, and mine was abt to...as i thk KIE being our first job after graduating from UOL and the many laughters and fun that we had with all the interns..this we will nvr forget and treasure it..
Bt nevetheless, there's no dinner tat would last forever, to quote a chinese saying....James went for a better job with higher renumeration and hopefully good prospect...Wish him all the best in his new job..jus want to say that i would nvr possibly meet another colleague like him....Seriously
ACCA wise, 30 more days b4 the exams arrive...more confident nw,after attending all the lectures for another round nw and paying more attention in class....jus keep studying and hope for the best,haha..
My logic is that I am stuck in Kep because of my ACCA, once I am done with my ACCA, i will go look for other more well paid jobs...jus like James, hopefully that time will come soon in Aug'13 I hope.
